The Uganda Parliament Speaker ruled in favour of MPs expelled from NRM Party

Uganda Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has ruled that rebel NRM MPs will stay in the house despite being expelled by the party.

Basing on article 83 of the Constitution, Kadaga told Parliament that the expulsion of Members of Parliament from a political party does not tantamount to vacating of their seats in Parliament.
